The stay offered stunning views and a beautifully decorated room filled with unique frescoes and mosaic floors. Breakfast was exceptional, featuring homemade options that clearly reflected care and passion. While there were quite a few steps leading up to the property, the proximity to the train station was a huge advantage for exploring nearby towns. However, for those with mobility issues, be prepared for the elevation, and there could be occasional train sounds although they didn't disturb our sleep.

Be prepared for steep stairs. using local taxis can save you energy after a day of exploring.

It was just an appropriate option for a weekend outing in Santa Margherita Ligure with great value for money. Breakfast was amazing, but some items could have been better like the cold coffee. Be prepared for a bit of a walk or a taxi from the bottom of the hill.

We loved that it was just a short walk to the stunning Chiesa di San Michele Arcangelo, making it easy to explore the charming streets and admire the beautiful architecture during our stay, and after a quick stroll, we enjoyed basking in the greenery at Ente Parco di Portofino, which was a perfect place to relax.

The suite was spacious, but noises from the reception disturbed our sleep.
